University Orthopedics' Surgeon Awarded ASES Membership

Joshua Port, MD, of University Orthopedics Center, was elected to join the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons (ASES).

Membership in ASES is a privilege and an honor awarded only to experienced orthopedic surgeons who concentrate on shoulder surgery, elbow surgery, and/or sports medicine. Membership is by invitation only, with two accompanying sponsorships from active members of the organization. They also must meet strict academic and clinical requirements as well as demonstrate active involvement in scientific meetings.
