Claysburg Woman Arrested

According to Freedom Township police, at approximately 8:56 p.m., Aug. 29, a 2005 Lincoln Aviator driven by Jessica Weyant, 35 of Claysburg, was stopped in the parking lot at 310 Travelers Road near Freedom Junction.

Patrolman Tyler Grigg identified the driver as Weyant, and being familiar with Weyant requested back up from Chief Sharkey and Lt. Clowson.

When asked if the vehicle could be searched, Weyant stated that she knew her ex-boyfriend was engaged in some drug activity but she was unaware of anything inside the vehicle. She then granted permission.
