Pirates' GM to Talk at Breakfast Club

The Blair County Chamber of Commerce will hold its Breakfast Club at noon Wednesday, Sept. 9, at The Casino at Lakemont Park, Altoona.

Ben Cherington, new general manager of the Pittsburgh Pirates, will be the guest speaker. Cherington was most recently the executive vice president of the Boston Red Sox.

There will be a cost to attend the event, which will feature grilled chicken salads.
