Greenfield Twp. Plans Cleanup Day Sept. 26

Greenfield Township’s annual cleanup day will be held Saturday, Sept. 26, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the township garage located at 477 Ski Gap Road, Claysburg.

The program is for Greenfield Township residents only, with a maximum of two loads.

Accepted items include: bulky waste, furniture, bedding, toys, doors, windows, porcelain, scrap metal and other items not accepted by the trash hauler. Tires will also be collected for a fee.

Items that will not be accepted include: household garbage, hazardous waste, large construction pieces, concrete blocks, paint, yard waste, burn barrels or drum...
