Members of the Martinsburg VFW will be seeking signatures on petitions to be sent to North Vietnam calling for the release or fair treatment of Americans that are being held as prisoners of war.

The Martinsburg community is to receive a hearing on the various objections raised to the site and plan proposed for the new post office building.

Martinsburg council gave tentative approval for a new trailer court in the borough. The court, proposed by David McKim of Claysburg, would be located at Forshey and Bassler Streets on land owned by Mr. McKim.
