Northern Bedford school directors reversed a long-standing policy Tuesday and will permit organized athletic play on Sunday afternoons on school grounds.

The on-again off-again public sewer system plan in Woodbury Township, Blair County, is back on. A meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 18 so that community residents may get an update on the proposed sewer system.
