A 36-year-old Martinsburg man was killed in a motorcycle accident Monday night, Sept. 7, in Hopewell Township, Bedford County.

Pennsylvania State Police, Bedford, said Ryan W. Brenneman, was traveling west on a motorcycle on the 300 block along Woodbury Pike (State Route 36) on a motorcycle and failed to negotiate a left curve in the roadway. The motorcycle left the roadway and struck a utility pole on the north side of Woodbury Pike. Brenneman was ejected from the motorcycle and landed 50 feet away from the motorcycle.
