Some weird things happen to me almost every day in my ministry as a hospice chaplain. People stare at me and folks eavesdrop on my conversations. There are other unique things that go on as well, but I will spare you those details. I often visit patients in lounge areas in facilities where folks are very close together. It is possible that people are simply staring and thinking, "Who is that masked man?" One can smile until being blue in the proverbial face but when wearing a mask no one can be sure you are smiling.
