Potato Growers Meeting Held

A meeting of farmers was called for Friday for the purpose of promoting a cannery and cold storage plant for the central section of the Cove.

A meeting for the potato growers of the Cove was held at the Mt. Pleasant school building in Taylor township. The chief speaker was County Agent R. Bruce Dunlap who told of potato growing in other sections of the state. Albert Carper and Aaron Stern was appointed a committee to see about getting disease free seed for the coming season.
