Bedford County Court Employee Tests Positive for COVID-19

Bedford County Court Administration announced Oct. 13 that a court employee has tested positive for COVID-19.

The employee last worked in court offices on Friday, Oct. 2, and as required, adhered to health and safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment and social distancing. At this time there is no indication the public was exposed to the affected employee.

Court administration has notified the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts and has followed CDC and Pennsylvania Department of Health Guidelines and has completed contact tracing. Those potentially exposed, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control, have been notified and work areas with which the employee had physical contact have been cleaned.
