Roaring Spring

Susan M. Emeigh-Rabenstein, 65, of Roaring Spring, passed away Sunday morning, Oct. 4, 2020, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Dec. 13, 1954, in Altoona, the daughter of the late Merle and Dorothy (Bartley) Stiver. She married Earl "Dave" Rabenstein on July 25, 2009.

She is survived by her husband; a daughter, Sherry "Mickey" Decriscio and husband Jim of Roaring Spring; two grandchildren: Brett Decriscio (Sheena) and Bre Decriscio (Terelle); two great-grandchildren: Gracelyn "Sissy" and Graydon "Fred"; two stepchildren: Trevor and Lindsey Rabenstein; seven stepgrandchildren: Gaige, Grady, Garet, Danika, Lauryn, Lylah and Buddyman; six sisters: Margaret, Sally, Melody, Paula, Kelly and Judy; a brother, Tom; and a special niece, Linda Winkelvoss.

She was preceded in death by four siblings: Linda, Richard "Mike," Ray "Chip" and Merle "Scoot."

Sue attended Altoona Area High School.

She retired from Barnes Optometry, Altoona, in 2017 and had previously been employed at the Roaring Spring Blank Book Co.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and she enjoyed crocheting.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Sue's memory may be given to Mending Hearts Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 97, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648 or Companion Animal Hospital, 1065 E. Main St., Roaring Spring, PA 16673.
