Debbie Macomber is a very popular author with more than 200 million books in print. Her books are filled with lovable characters and are usually full of happy endings. "A Walk Along the Beach" is not one of those books. For many of us who have dealt with this disease called cancer, it is a hard book to read. It will bring back many memories of loved ones who have struggled with this terrible disease and the loss of many we loved. But that being said, it is a good story and one worth reading.
