A three-touchdown explosion by the Northern Bedford Black Panthers broke open a tie game in the third quarter, sparking NB to a 36-19 win over visiting Juniata Valley on Oct. 9.

Juniata Valley got on the board first with an early second-quarter touchdown run and with the extra point kick took a 7-0 lead.

NB started its comeback with just under a minute left in the half when Dalton Smith caught a short crossing route pass from Thad Leidy and rambled into the end zone. Collin Yeatts' PAT kick tied the game at 7-7.
