Resident at The Village at Morrisons Cove, formerly of Williamsburg

Olga Steele, 100, a resident at The Village at Morrisons Cove, Martinsburg, formerly of Williamsburg, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 2, 2020, at the home, following complications after a stroke.

She was born Oct. 26, 1920, in Tyrone, the daughter of the late Kuzma and Barbara (Kuzmich) Rupeka. She married Arthur O. Steele on April 26, 1941, in Cumberland, Md. He preceded her in death in 2005.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna McNally and husband Ronald of Roaring Spring; a daughter-in-law, Carol Steele of James Creek; three grandchildren: Lisa White, James Steele and Randall L. McNally; four great-grandchildren: Ashley Brown, Evan Steele and Morgan and Logan McNally; two great-great grandchildren: Everly and Beckett Brown; and a sister, Catherine Carroll of Williamsburg.

She was preceded in death by a son, James A. Steele, who passed away Nov. 19, 2016; and five brothers: John, Joseph, Nick, Michael and Frank.

Olga was a member of Grace Pointe Community Church, Williamsburg.

She had been employed at the Martinsburg shoe company.

At the request of the deceased, services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.

Interment will be made in Greenlawn Cemetery, Roaring Spring.
