Spring Cove District Hosts Special Trunk-or-Treat Event

Spring Cove Elementary and Martinsburg Elementary schools held a safe fun event for their students Oct. 27 at the SCES in Roaring Spring.
Principles and reading specialists from both schools wanted to do something fun, safe and educational for their students who have been unable to have many activities.
Staff members from both buildings wore costumes and decorated their vehicle trunks after a book theme or name of a book...for example, "Charlotte's Web," "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Bat," and more.
I was greeted by the "Wee Dragon" who plays a particularly important role in SCE....
