Department of Health: Keys to Decreasing New Cases of HIV

Department of Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine today highlighted the importance of routine HIV testing for Pennsylvanians who are sexually active, as nearly 40 percent of new HIV infections are transmitted by people who do not know they have the virus, and emphasized treatment as a prevention tool to decrease the prevalence of HIV.
