What Can you Believe About Trump?

Is there anything that is worth believing about Trump? Did he really have the COVID-19 virus? People just do not check themselves out of a hospital with this virus. How is it that he was allowed to leave? It makes us all wonder if he was using this to make the public believe that he is invincible, the virus is not that serious or was it all a campaign ploy?

So many people had fallen into believing his campaign commercials that they failed to see the truth. He used old campaign video clips that had been taken out of context and he had them edited to make Mr. Biden look less than favorable to the public.

We are supposed to be living in a democratic nation, but more and more we have seen a dictatorial president who would have the public believe that Mr. Biden is an incompetent, but not true.

Mr. Biden has shown that he is the better man.

Trump has repeatedly fired anyone who disagrees with him. He has flaunted the CDC’s warnings about the virus and has ridiculed Dr. Fauci. And now we are supposed to believe that after just a few days in Walter Reed Hospital that the president could just leave. What was Trump trying to prove before the election, that he was invincible?

As my cousin, Harry Truman said, “The buck stops here.” He meant that the president has to make decisions. But that does not mean that the president can just fire everyone who doesn’t agree with his dictatorial rule. Who does Trump think he is and can say that he has won? That is what a dictator does. We, the citizens, have voted and proclaimed that we do not want another term of a pompous egotistical president who would make this country into a dictatorship.

I am proud to say that Harry Trueman was my cousin. He advanced civil rights, elevated Social Security among other positive things for U.S. citizens. It is because Harry was poor that presidents now enjoy a yearly salary and a pension. Cousin Harry was also the first U.S. citizen to receive a Medicare card.

Trump is the most shameful egotistical liar that has ever been in the White House. He has told countless lies about taxes and plans for healthcare. His only idea on wanting businesses to reopen was because his hotels and golf courses weren’t making any money. He is not pro-life either because he is responsible for over a quarter million deaths due to COVID-19 because he did not tell us about it when he found out in early February of this year. He ignored the seriousness of it and is still not doing anything to stop its spread.

And now, Trump doesn’t even plan on getting more stimulus benefits out to the unemployed! He doesn’t have to worry about where the money is coming from for his food, healthcare, housing or anything else.

What does he care if the workers who are unemployed due to the virus get anything?

What does he care for those who are collecting Social Security whether they will be able to get benefits in future years or if Medicare will even continue?

Only the very wealthy will survive under his “leadership.” The poor, the elderly and the middle class will suffer because of his inability to make a decision. He is on an ego trip and this is not “The Apprentice” that he can just fire everyone who doesn’t agree or is a Democrat that he wants to invent fake news about.

Trump, you’re fired because Mr. Biden has won.
