Youngster Shoots First Buck

Anna Jolynn Smith, 16-year-old at Northern Bedford High School, shot her first buck Tuesday, Nov 30, with Jeffrey Snyder, who has been taking her hunting for the past five years. Anna used a 270 rifle with a high powered scope to drop this 4-point buck at 250 yards away. Anna gutted, skinned and butchered the buck herself. She plans on making alot of jerky with the meat and getting the head done in a European mount. Anna was the youngest contestant in The Cove's Got Talent and Little Miss Roaring Spring Pageant in 2013. She also enjoys fishing and playing with her pet snake King. Anna is the daughter of Chris Smith and Amanda Conway.
