Museum Honors Stern

Loa Joan Stern of Roaring Spring RD was named the 1995 recipient of the Southern Alleghenies Museum of Art’s Lee Atkyns Memorial Award for Artistic Distinction Saturday at the museum in Loretto. Mrs. Stern had been active in the arts in this area since 1962 when she and her husband, J. Kenneth Stern Jr., made their home in the Roaring Spring area.
