Blair, Bedford Counties Release CARES ACT Funding

Blair and Bedford counties have released nearly $4 million in federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (CARES) funds to help business affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Blair County allotted nearly $3.3 million while Bedford County distributed $532,860 in its second round of awards. Bedford previously distributed $612,532 during its first round.

While funded federally, the monies are distributed through each county’s County Relief Block Grant (CRBG).
