Greenfield Supervisors Set 2021 Budget

Greenfield Township supervisors approved their 2021 budget at their monthly meeting Dec. 1.

Next year’s budget has been set at $786,659. The figure is 6 percent less than the 2020 budget.

The township is “anticipating a decrease in tax revenue,” said Arlene Kuntz, secretary/treasurer, particularly a decrease in payroll taxes due to the pandemic.

The board moved to provide conditional approval for a new water treatment facility that the Greenfield Township Municipal Authority is slated to construct in the Marasco Business Park.
