W-burg Man Charged With Forgery, Theft of Checks of Great-Grandmother

A Williamsburg man is facing charges after police said he stole, then forged checks belonging to his great-grandmother.

According to charges filed by Hollidaysburg State Police, Brandon C. Breisacher, 23, stole numerous checks from his great-grandmother and forged her name on them. Police said Breisacher made the checks out to himself in amounts that totaled approximately $2,350.

The investigation into Breisacher began on Nov. 14 when his mother arrived at the Hollidaysburg State Police Barracks to report that her son had stolen the checks between Aug. 9 and Nov. 6.
