Woodbury Township Appoints Two New Auditors

Woodbury Township Vice Chairman Ed Clark made a motion to replace two auditors – Loranne Keithley and Kristen Shock – who had previously submitted their resignation letters during the Dec. 3 Woodbury Township meeting. Supervisor Craig Hamilton seconded the motion, which passed.

Supervisor Clark then made a motion to appoint Cathy Over and Susan Camaroto as new auditors to join Julie Clark. Supervisor Craig Hamilton seconded the motion, which passed.

The 2021 budget was passed with no tax increase for residents. Vice Chairman Clark made the motion with Supervisor Hamilton seconding the motion, which passed.

A road study has been completed on several roads in the township so that there can be a weight limit placed on them following roadwork and construction by other companies. Supervisor Clark made a motion to accept the road study findings with Supervisor Hamilton seconding. The motion passed.

There were some issues last month with employee benefits and using the health insurance stipend. The matters were forwarded to Solicitor David Pertile. It was suggested that a policy be placed in the employee handbook that health insurance would be pro-rated for the hours an employee of the township works during the month.

Vice Chairman Clark made a motion to appoint Troy Everhart to the Williamsburg Municipal Authority as one of Woodbury Township’s representatives with Supervisor Hamilton seconding. The motion passed.

Vice Chairman Clark made a motion to increase the pay of township Secretary Kelsie Lego to $14 per hour with Supervisor Hamilton seconding. The motion passed.

The township’s reorganization meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 4.
