Teacher Celebrates Birthday

The members of the sophomore class of the Cove High school near Martinsburg entertained the seniors at a reception on the evening of Dec. 3. A program was carried out in the chapel of the building. Lunch was served in the domestic science kitchen.

Tobias Henry, teacher of the Bull Run school near Loysburg, was tendered a surprise on Dec. 7 his 19th birthday, when a large number of patrons gathered at the building. A fine program was carried out during the afternoon. The visitors brought well-filled baskets.
