JACQUELINE J. 'JACKIE' WILLIAMS

Donnertown

Jacqueline J. Williams, 84, of Donnertown, passed away Friday evening, Dec. 11, 2020, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, due to COVID-19.

She was born Sept. 29, 1936, in Roaring Spring, the daughter of the late Frank and Pauline (Carberry) Stroup. She married James L. "Jim" Williams on Feb. 16, 1957, in Maryland. He preceded her in death Feb. 6, 2018.

She is survived by two daughters: Gabi Williams of Newburg and Virginia Williams of Altoona; and two granddaughters: Adrienne Williams of Harrisburg and Olivia Williams of Altoona.

Jackie had attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Roaring Spring.

She was a graduate of Roaring Spring High School and attended Shippensburg University.

She retired as a teacher's aide for the Spring Cove School District and had also worked for the Appalachia Intermediate Unit 8 for many years.

Jackie loved shopping, watching Hallmark movies, going gem mining with her family and spending time with her family. Jackie also loved going to the Southern Blair Senior Center in East Freedom and spending time with her friends there.

A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at the Yellow Creek Reformed Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jackie's memory may be given to the Southern Blair Senior Center, 15229 Dunnings Highway, East Freedom, PA 16637.

Arrangements are by the Todd T. Thompson Funeral Home Inc., Roaring Spring.
