Ask the Williamsburgers

In a world full of uncertainty and the extraordinary changes that our country has gone through this year, not many of us can see any positive things that have happened this year. For instance, I got a new home with my sister and I got a new car.

I decided to ask the residents of Williamsburg – What is one positive thing that happened to you in 2020?

Here is what a few had to say:

Kimmie Smith: I met someone.

Rebecca Stauffer: We ended 2020 by getting a puppy for Christmas.

Stephen Diehl: Great grandson

Carol Miller: We are all healthy, working, have food and are warm.

Ashley Morgan: My sister, Amber, gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Also, we were fortunate enough not to lose our jobs due to COVID.

Jackie Weaver: We got a great grandson.

Karen Delozier: My husband received a miracle from God. God is good!

Linda Lemin: Got my shop running and my family has been pretty healthy

Larry Blough: I moved back to Pennsylvania from South Carolina.

Shirley Kurtz-Flaugh: My daughter and family moved closer to me.

Marge Troxell: Our health – plus, I got a new car after 18 years of driving my old one.

Brandon Cruthers: God blessed us with a beautiful new home and happiness and peace.

Crescenda Turner: I started working at the job I was destined for – Cove Forge.

Melody Wise: I got married to my best friend.

Rebecca Miller: The Lord really blessed my Etsy store. Best year, even without any sci-fi conventions or craft shows. I made 1,086 face masks.

Here is hoping that 2021 brings brighter blessings for all of us.
