A quick-moving fire destroyed a Frankstown Township home on Wednesday morning, Dec. 23. The Geeseytown Community Fire Company responded to the 9 a.m. alarm and arrived to the home at 2279 Reservoir Road fully involved. Crews from Geeseytown, Hollidaysburg, Duncansville, Cannon Station, Allegheny Township and Freedom Township battled the blaze for nearly four hours. Crews were called back to the scene later that afternoon to extinguish some flareups from underneath the collapsed home.
