Claysburg-Kimmel to Demolish Football Field Bleachers

The Claysburg-Kimmel School Board at a Dec. 22 meeting awarded a contract for the demolition of the home-side bleachers at Bulldog Stadium.

School directors awarded the $$14,600 project to Dirt Works by Johnston, East Freedom. Work will begin as soon as all of the district's demolition permits are in place.

The district will replace the bleachers as part of phase one of the C-K High School Athletic Improvement plan.

Also during the meeting, the board appointed Dena Burket to the position of assistant business manager.
