Teachers Meeting Held

A teacher’s local institute will be held in the Roaring Spring high school auditorium. Teachers of Taylor, North Woodbury and Freedom Townships and Roaring Spring school district will participate. Arrangements have been completed to provide for visiting teachers and during the social hour all visiting teachers will be the guests of the Roaring Spring teachers and will be served with luncheon in the basement of the high school building.

At this writing winter is in evidence. The students come trooping to the door with a hurried step. Their faces are red, marked by the crisp air of the morning. Some have come from the mountainside, others have traveled many miles by auto, still others have walked a great distance. Hardship, yes hardship that makes young America strong and powerful. To every student who travels up this sacred hill it seems I hear a voice that says to them “You cannot be strong unless you are active. You have life that is abundant and hopeful that is pure and good.”
