Williamsburg Girls Rally Past J. Valley

The Williamsburg High School girls’ basketball team knocked off Juniata Valley for the first time in 10 years Jan. 25, winning 58-48.

Down 24-23 at halftime, the Lady Pirates outscored Juniata Valley 35-24 in the second half.

“To say the least, I am extremely proud of my team,” Williamsburg coach Amy Hileman said. “It has been 10 years since Williamsburg girls have been able to beat Juniata Valley.
