George, Virginia Clapper Celebrate 70th Anniversary

Mr. and Mrs. George W. Clapper of James Creek celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary Friday, Dec. 25, 2020.

They were married Dec. 25, 1950, at the Christ Evangelical and Reformed Church in Alexandria by the Rev. Charles Huyette.

Mrs. Clapper is the former Virginia Fornwalt of East Freedom. Mrs. Clapper was formerly involved with the Smith Corner Mennonite Church.
