Wintry Day in Southern Cove

More snow fell in the Morrisons Cove area Wednesday night into Thursday morning, Feb. 10-11, leaving an additional two to four inches on the ground. Above, Mennonites were in school along Cowan Road in New Enterprise. Notice the bikes that students rode to and from school that day. An ice storm hit the region Monday night into Tuesday morning, Feb. 15-16. And more wintry weather is in the forecast through Friday, Feb. 19. As of presstime Tuesday afternoon, Accuweather was predicting four to eight inches of snow Thursday through Friday.
