Flood Books Sold Out

Souvenir booklets on the Flood of ’96 published by the Morrisons Cove Herald were nearly sold out. Demand for the books was greater than anticipated, and many customers had to make a second or third trip to the Herald office or one of the dealers in order to secure a copy. The Herald was attempting to fill out all mail orders that were postmarked no later than Feb. 28.
