The Roaring Spring Borough Council accepted a $20,188 bid for the installation of a rubber liner in the borough water tank. That bid, the only one received, was made by Globe Linings, Inc., of California. The council earlier anticipated the cost and installation of the liner at $20,000 but provided $24,000 for the liner expenditure in its 1971 budget.
