Many of the faces are located on either side of the courthouse's narrow windows, at the bottom of the legs of the arches over the windows, as indicated by the red dots.
During the recent renovations on the courthouse, it was discovered that there were carved stone faces adorning different areas of the exterior of the building. It turns out that there are 55 to 58 heads.
Former Blair County Commissioner Terry Tomassetti contacted the Blair County Genealogical Society and asked for their help in identifying the faces.
