Woodbury Considers Hanging Christmas Lights

The Woodbury Borough Council met for its regular session on March 1, 2021, at the Woodbury Community Center at 7 p.m.

All members were present. President Kristi Oberman opened the meeting with the pledge of allegiance to the flag. Expenditures were reviewed and the treasury report was given. The total amount in the general and state aid account is $92,396.73.

The mayor position remains open and the majority leader position. Those interested in serving are asked to please contact the council.

The Lower Alley work is on hold until the spring. The State Liquid Fuels audit was completed with no issues found.

President Oberman has contacted Penelec to review the telephone poles for the possibility of hanging Christmas lights in the borough this Christmas season. Once this is completed more information will be given to the community concerning cost and possible donations.

The council held a special session concerning a property hazard in the town.

The next regular borough council meeting is scheduled for April 5.
