Like a whirlwind, the first week of daylight saving time took me into its swirling action. Sometimes it seemed to take my breath away, other times I collapsed into unconsciousness as sweet sleep revitalized me for the next round of activity.
Coming to life again, after that first "dead" Monday on March 15 when winter weather ruled, I looked forward for the arrival of Tuesday when our middle daughter and her children would come to visit for the first time since Christmas.
