More Than 60 Pounds Collected

Freedom Township, along with the Martinsburg Police Department, the Altoona Police Department, and the Blair County Sheriff's Office, participated in the Drug Enforcement Agency's National Prescription Take Back Day.

Freedom Township collected 61 pounds of unused or expired medication while Martinsburg collected a little more than 50 pounds. Countywide, 321 pounds of drugs were collected.
