Thomas C. Sell, 15, a member of Boy Scout Troop 57 of Roaring Spring, was to be presented with the Eagle Scout award May 19 at Trinity United Methodist Church. He was the son of Mr. And Mrs. C.C. Sell.

Mr. And Mrs. Blair R. Bice of Millerstown, Perry County, bought the Odd Fellows building at the corner of E. Allegheny and Wall Streets, from Mrs. Mary Smith of Curryville.

The Ladies of Mount Pleasant Reformed Church advertised a public chicken and waffle dinner on Saturday, May 25, at the North Woodbury Grange Hall, Martinsburg. Dinners were $1 each.
