Pharmacy Opens Walk-In COVID-19 Vaccine

Duncansville Pharmacy, located at 1328 Third Avenue in Duncansville, is now accepting walk-ins for the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

Those interested do not need to register or make an appointment.

Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Curbside assistance is available to anyone unable to enter the pharmacy.

There is no charge for vaccines, but participants are advised to bring their insurance or Medicare card with them. Vaccines are available to those 18 and older.

“For various reasons, there has been a decrease in demand,” said Pharmacist Ronald Dick said of the vaccine.

Dick has administered thousands of these vaccines.

“We are hopeful that those wishing to receive the necessary and added protection from the deadly virus will take advantage of the opportunity to simply walk-in.”

The staff is available to answer questions over the phone at (814) 695-8065 or in person at the pharmacy, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Sunday evening from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
