The food service staff at Spring Cove Middle School gets training in the use of new combi oven, purchased through a major food service grant awarded to the Spring Cove School District.
The Spring Cove School District monthly committee of the whole meeting was held Monday, May 10, at the administration office boardroom with all visitors participating virtually.
A presentation on the 2021-22 budget for the district was given by Business Manager Kathy Hazenstab. Hazenstab stated that the recommendation at next week's board meeting would be no tax increase for the 2021-22 school year. The millage rate of 11.03 would not change and would remain at the same rate it was in 2020-21 and 2019-20.
The projected general fund balance for 2021-22 would be $6,710,631. The interest on...
