Youth Bowling Champions

Colby Gojmerac, age 10, from Roaring Spring, won the Altoona Youth Bowling "Bowler of the Year" tournament on Saturday, April 3, by bowling a 475 series.

Colby, currently a fourth grader at Martinsburg Elementary School, next bowls at the Pepsi State Tournament in Lancaster on Saturday, May 15.

Gavin Ross, age 15, from Hopewell, almost achieved a perfect game on Sunday, April 11, at the Jordan Lanes in Allentown.

Gavin was one strike away from a perfect 300 game, bowling a 288 with a spare in the tenth frame.

Gavin, a student in the Tussey Mountain School District, bowls next at the Pepsi State Tournament in Lancaster on Saturday, May 15.
