The Martinsburg Municipal Authority voted last week to proceed with a project to bring a fourth well on line.

Phase 1 of a project to develop Wineland Well No. 3 was completed recently. Lawrence J. Lennon, authority engineer, reported that the results of the micro-particulate analysis test done at the well came back very positive. This test is done to determine the well’s risk of contamination.

The American Red Cross Bloodmobile visited Roaring Spring May 16, netting 74 pints of blood.
