Bair Foundation Child and Family Ministries Celebrates Commitment to Families and Children

The Bair Foundation of Blair County, located at 615 Howard Ave. in Altoona, held a celebration at Valley View Park on May 4.

The Bair Foundation, founded in 1967, has said its mission is to “build strong children, strong families and strong communities” through foster care, adoption, kinship, family services and behavioral health.

Jamie Fetter, program director, and Ashlee Long, permanency specialist, coordinated the program. Over 40 staff members attended the event.

Fetter said, “Our goal was to celebrate staff commitments to our families and children.”
