Weekend Book Sale Brings $1,100 to Martinsburg Library

The Martinsburg Community Library's Friends of the Library Book Sale brought many interested readers to Morrisons Cove Memorial Park. The book sale was held from May 27-29.

The library collected items from September 2020 until the week of the book sale. Included in the items available for purchase were books, puzzles and magazines.

Book sale organizer Peggy Steinfurth, a retired librarian, said that the goal of the sale was $1,000 and the total income topped $1,100.
