Feed Company Offers Reward

A $300 reward was offered by J.H. Brown & Sons of Loysburg for arrest and conviction of persons who destroyed the large public signs advertising dairy feeds in Blair and Bedford counties. The offer covered any destruction of such feed and flour signs in the future.

The local school board selected teachers for the coming year: First and second grades, Emma Benson; third and fourth, Sara Bridenbaugh; fifth and sixth, Anna Martin; seventh and eigthth, Mrs. Robert Straesser; high school principal, Mary Graffius; and assistant, Florence Wineland.
