One of the first female Eagle Scouts in Blair County is setting up her Eagle Project in Roaring Spring.
Erika Salisbury, a Life Scout of Troop 9062, is building a little free library at Spring Dam.
Salisbury's brother was a Boy Scout.
"I was always doing Boy Scout stuff with him when I was younger," Salisbury said.
Salisbury jumped at the chance to join a girl's troop when one was created.
Salisbury's troop is a youth-led Scout team in Blair County, made for girls age 11-17 who are looking for an opportunity to get outdoors, challenge themselves, and grow through adventures.
