Stoudnour Elected Principal

Lemmon C. Stoudnour was elected supervising principal of the Morrison Cove joint school district. He succeeded John H. Hess, who was elected to fill and administrative position at Ligonier.

The D.M. Bare Paper Co. was bought by the Combined Locks Paper Co. Of Combined Locks, Wis.

The Methodist Church at Loysburg celebrated its 50th anniversary of the dedication of the church building.

Another oil line, the third to cross the Piney Creek Road within one mile, was laid by the Socony Oil Co.
