RS Council Suspends Plum Creek Mtn. Use Permit Sales Until Study Completed

When the Roaring Spring Borough Council met in May, more than 50 people attended to voice their concerns over a rumor that council intended to close off access to Plum Creek Mountain.

While no member of council has expressed a desire to close off the mountain to public use, a decision on what to do with it is looming as council weighs the desires of the community against possible costly liability issues.
