Relay for Life in the Cove Celebrates 20 Years with 44 Survivors

Relay for Life in the Cove took place June 26 at Albright Church of the Brethren in Roaring Spring from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The event included entertainment, raffles and a speech made by the ambassador.

Mindy Wagner is the chairperson for Relay for Life in Roaring Spring. She said that there were 44 survivors who signed up.

"Even though we aren't doing a walk, we still want to celebrate with everyone," she said.

Last year the group was not able to hold a celebration due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but still had a drive-thru meal. This year, survivors could stay and eat or take their food home...
